Dr. Sima Patel

Dr. Sima Patel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University Dental School in 1993. Dr. Patel had practiced dentistry as an associate before starting her own practice in Lakemoor, Illinois.
Dentistry is constantly changing and Dr. Patel understands the importance of continuing to learn and grow as a dentist. Dr. Patel strives to keep herself and her staff trained and knowledgeable in current dental topics and techniques. This is through her involvement in continuing education courses, dental organizations like the American Dental Association, and professional journals. She has equipped the office with the most up-to-date equipment so as to provide our patients the best possible dental care. When not in the office, Dr. Patel loves to spend time reading and traveling. Dr. Patel is very family orientated, so spending quality time with her family is of great importance.
Dr. Ryan Teahen
Endodontist in Hainesville, Illinois.
Dr. Ryan Teahen was born and raised in Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate and dental school education earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2013. After graduation, he completed a one-year fellowship in general dentistry in Boston, Massachusetts at a community health center. He practiced general dentistry for two years primarily in Chicago, while concurrently working with a pediatric mobile outreach clinic serving at-risk neighborhoods. It was during this time that Dr. Teahen found his passion for endodontics. He then returned to the University of Iowa for a two-year advanced education program and earned his specialty certificate in endodontics in 2018.
During his time at the University of Iowa, Dr. Teahen earned the Dean's Student Leader Award in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013, recognizing his leadership within the college, the Practice Management Award in 2013 for his excellence in the treatment he provided to patients during dental school, and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award in 2013 for his achievement in community dentistry and dental public health.
Dr. Teahen is a board eligible endodontist, a member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association. He enjoys participating in dental outreach initiatives both locally and abroad- including service trips to Jamaica, India and Ghana. In his free time, you'll likely find Dr. Teahen enjoying the outdoors, running, skiing, or biking along the lakefront trail.
Dr. Timothy Sanders
Orthodontist in Lakemoor, Hainesville, Arlington Heights, and Elk Grove Village, IL
Dr. Sanders is truly blessed to be an orthodontist. Dr. Sanders enjoys working with children, teens, and adults, creating beautiful smiles.
Dr. Sanders was raised in Libertyville, IL attending St. Joseph Catholic School and Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein. Dr. Sanders was chosen from the Illinois State Senators as Illinois State Scholar. After majoring in Biology/Chemistry from Carroll University of Waukesha. Dr. Sanders went on to dental school of Loyola University of Illinois. Graduating top of his class he was chosen to attend Loyola University Orthodontic program.
Dr. Sanders and his wife, Pat, reside in Lake Forest, Illinois where he raised 7 wonderful children. When not in the office, Dr. Sanders enjoys woodworking, gardening, and time with his favorite Golden, “Flora”. Other hobbies include tennis and his full-time greenhouse.
Dr. Emil Marogil
Orthodontist in Elk Grove Village, IL
Dr. Emil Marogil is a native of Illinois. He attended undergraduate school at Loyola University of Chicago where he majored in Biology. He then completed a 2 year certification program at Triton College in Dental Laboratory Technology before heading to the East-coast to attend dental school at Boston University where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD). He immediately entered the residency program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Boston University where he received his Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in 2004 and became a licensed and certified Orthodontist.

Dr. Emil Marogil is versed in all aspects of Orthodontics and especially enjoys Surgical Orthodontics involving Craniofacial/orthognathic surgery.
In his spare time Dr. Marogil enjoys spending time with his family, exercising and traveling.
Dr. Amanda Dyer
Dentist in Lakemoor, Hainesville, Arlington Heights, and Elk Grove Village, IL
Following her graduation, she joined the United States Navy and completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2014. After her residency, she then served 2 years onboard the USS Eisenhower CVN 69 out of Norfolk, VA.
She finished her military service locally, treating Navy recruits and teaching dentistry to new dental graduates for 3 years before transitioning to private practice in 2019. During her time in the Navy, Dr. Dyer earned two Navy and Marine corps Achievement Medals (2016, 2019), earned fellow status with the Academy of General Dentistry (2018), and earned senior officer title of Lieutenant Commander (2019).
When not at the clinic, you can find Dr. Dyer spending time with her two young boys, Emerson and Lawrence, and husband, Scott. She enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, and cooking.
Dr. Shivam Patel
Implant Dentist in Lakemoor, Hainesville, Arlington Heights, and Elk Grove Village, IL
Dr. Shivam Patel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received his Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. Dr. Patel completed his doctorate at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
Following graduation from dental school, he completed a comprehensive training in implant dentistry at the AAID Maxicourse in Atlanta, GA in 2012. Dr. Patel accepted a position at the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry and worked alongside Dr. Edward Mills, one of the world's leading dental educators.
In 2016, he received he became an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Patel is a leader and educator and serves as the IT and Communications Chairman for the Advanced Dental Implant Studies Program. The group is composed of clinicians from all across the country that strive to be on the cutting edge of implant, restorative, and regenerative dentistry. Dr. Patel has also served as the Logistics Chairman for the Summit on Advanced Dental Implant Studies.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Dental Association , Chicago Dental Society , American Association of Implant Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry.
When not in the office, Dr. Patel loves to travel and spend time with his family.
Dr. Caroline Witik
Dr. Witik completed her undergraduate education at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. She majored in Biology and received her Bachelor of Science degree. While at Saint Mary's, she was inducted into the Tri Beta Biological Honor Society. In addition, she pursued her dental dream by volunteering weekly at Sister Maura Brannick Dental Clinic. She continued her education at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She is passionate about helping people and serving her community. While in dental school, she served as a volunteer dentist yearly for Give Kids a Smile and Veterans Day Clinics. These events were geared toward providing dental care to children and veterans.
Dr. Witik is a member of Xi Psi Phi dental fraternity, the American Dental Association, American Academy of Women Dentists, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. As a Chicago native, Dr. Witik is a Chicago sports fan. She particularly enjoys watching Cubs and Blackhawks games.
